Jeffrey is the founder of Rosenbloom & Butler, CPAs, P.C. He has worked in public accounting for over 40 years starting his career with a now national public accounting firm. Prior to founding the firm in May 1989, he was responsible for the staff and finances of a 35-person firm. Jeffrey has extensive experience in construction, real estate, non-profit organizations, business valuations, professional firms (lawyers and doctors), cemeteries, retirement plans, and retail and wholesale accounting.
Jeffrey has been active in the District of Columbia Institute of Certified Public Accountants in various capacities over the last 15 years. He is a member of American Institute of CPAs, Maryland Association of CPAs and the Greater Washington Society of CPAs. He is a member of the National Association of Certified Financial Analysts, which carries the designation as a “CVA” - Certified Valuation Analyst. In addition, he has passed the series 65 examination, which carries the designation as an Investment Advisor Representative.
Born and raised in the Washington D.C. area, Jeffrey is a 1968 graduate of the University of Maryland. He has been married for over 40 years to Irene, has three grown children, and seven grandchildren. He enjoys playing tennis and bridge, as well as traveling with his travel agent wife. He is now semi-retired and spends his free time in Florida.
